Alma Local ("we", "us", "our"), part of the Alma group, helps local service businesses capture and convert more of the customers who already reach out to them. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers this website (almarev.com/local), our free Leak Check, and the calls and messages connected to our services.
1. Information we collect
- Information you give us: your name, phone number, email, business type, and your answers to the Leak Check or other forms.
- Call information: if we speak by phone, calls may be recorded for quality and accuracy. We say so at the start of recorded calls.
- Usage data: basic technical information about how you use this site, such as pages viewed and form progress, collected to improve the experience.
2. How we use it
- To generate and deliver your Leak Check results.
- To contact you about your results and our services, by phone, text message or email, when you have agreed to that.
- To prepare for and follow up on meetings you book with us.
- To operate, secure and improve our services.
3. Calls and text messages
When you submit the Leak Check or share your number with us on a call, you agree that we may contact you by phone or text about your results and our services. Message and data rates may apply.
You can stop at any time: reply STOP to any text, or tell us on any call that you do not want to be contacted. We honor those requests immediately and keep your contact details on an internal do-not-contact list so it does not happen again.
4. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business (for example, telephony, scheduling and hosting providers), under agreements that limit what they can do with it, and when required by law.
5. Retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes above, then delete or anonymize it. Do-not-contact records are kept so we can keep honoring your request.
6. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to stop contacting you, at any time. Depending on where you live, including under California law, you may have additional rights. We respond to all requests regardless of where you are.
